Phillips Foundation’s grant making strategy aims to leverage capital and partnerships to support once-in-a-generation projects that catalyze positive and systemic change in Guilford County, North Carolina, in the following categories:

  • Homelessness Solutions
  • Economic Development
  • Learning Enrichment

 

Innovation funding often supports proof of concept work with the intention of leveraging partnerships to bring the most successful models to scale.

The Foundation does not currently accept unsolicited grant applications.

Bringing nationally successful education models to Guilford County, such as Teach For America and Say Yes To Education, along with the start-up of a new magnet school model, Allen Jay Preparatory Academy.
